Things We're Excited About in Boston + Beyond

National French Fry Day

Happy National French Fry Day! Yes, this holiday probably isn’t real, but any excuse to eat fried potatoes is OK with us.

These places continue to be local favorites year after year, but you tell us — where’s your favorite spot to eat fries around Boston? 🍟 Let us know.

SAUS | 33 Union St. - Downtown

Considered a little slice of Belgium in Boston, Saus is a street food cafe style restaurant specializing in poutine frites. Grab some “secret saus” and crispy shallots to smother your appetite.

SHOJO | 9A Tyler St. - Chinatown

We love a fresh take on a classic, especially when it’s a happy little accident! Shojo’s famous Shadowless Fries were created by an employee who just threw together some food: Spicy lady beef mapo tofu, kimcheese, scallions and fries!

Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese | Multiple locations - City of Boston

You may have ordered from Roxy’s food truck, but did you know they have a restaurant inside of Central Square’s A4cade? They haven’t reopened just yet, but when they do, you can’t go wrong with handcut truffle fries, poutine or truffle tots!

The Publick House | 1648 Beacon St. - Brookline

Publick House has won a TON of awards for their signature Monk’s Fries and wide selection of toppings: garlic-asiago mayo, chipotle mayo, truffle ketchup, bbq sauce, ranch, blue cheese and honey mustard.

Tasty Burger | 1301 Boylston St. / Multiple Locations - City of Boston

Always there when you need it, Tasty Burger provides a traditional, classic crispy french fry, superb onion rings and tasty tater tots — go get ‘em.
