Sam Reifman-Packett is a Vice President at Compass Real Estate and founder of The RP Group. For over 10 years, Sam has helped his clients purchase and sell millions of dollars worth of real estate—everywhere from Back Bay to Dorchester, South End to Charlestown. He takes pride in his constant and prompt communication with his clients and other industry professionals, striving to make sure they receive the best service possible. What his clients appreciate most is his positivity as he navigates them through the sometimes-stressful process of buying and selling a home.
Working with a wide variety of clients—from the first time homebuyer to the experienced investor looking to trade more properties in their portfolio—Sam is a trust-worthy and diligent worker with a deep knowledge of the Boston market. His passion for real estate is infectious—just this year, Sam and his wife, Mimi partnered up to run The RP Group, making it a family-run business!
Sam was featured in Boston Agent Magazine’s 2017 Who’s Who Issue and, in 2020, he was voted to the Compass New England Agent Advisory Council where he supports and advocates for Compass real estate agents. Sam is also a member of both the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Outside of real estate, Sam resides in Dorchester with Mimi and their dog Nova. He is passionate about music, having graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2010 and performed all over the country, and he’s a big movie buff, co-founding and hosting the former Movie Roulette podcast.

Mark Steinert

With a professional background in music performance spanning 15+ years and a degree from Berklee College of Music, Mark has a naturally entrepreneurial and creative mindset that serves his clients well in today’s competitive market. He specializes in residential sales and luxury rentals throughout the Greater Boston area, serving a wide range of clients, from grad students, to first-time homebuyers, and seasoned investors.
Over the course of his career, Mark has built a reputation with his clients for being easily accessible, detail oriented and results driven. As an electronics enthusiast, you can always count on Mark to stay current on the latest in drone, 3D, and other immersive marketing tech, or any other tool that serves to make his clients’ lives easier.
Mark is originally from Tidewater, VA and embraces his rural heritage. Early on, he developed an interest in business and architecture, gaining inspiration from his father’s work in home restorations and his family’s background in farming and property management. Since moving to Boston over 10 years ago, Mark has lived in several neighborhoods including Back Bay, the South End, Allston, and now Brighton’s historic Aberdeen District, where he serves as a trustee on the condo association board.
Above all, Mark is dedicated to his clients and strives to make every transaction go as smoothly as possible. Having first-hand experience both leasing and buying property in Boston, Mark understands how stressful and frustrating the process can be. Mimi Lopez
Marketing and Operations Manager
Mimi comes from nearly a decade working in the advertising world, working across business development, PR, marketing, and diversity + inclusion. She started her career at the award-winning Droga5 New York before moving to Boston where she joined the prestigious firm Hill Holliday—it was during her time there that she landed on Business Insider’s annual Advertising 35U35 list.
Her latest venture was working for budding startups and established tech companies across real estate, VR, fashion, and healthcare at the amazing Launch Squad which is why she’s thrilled to be joining one of the hottest tech companies around, Compass!
Mimi was born in Japan, raised in New Jersey (and a few others coming from a military family), and has called Boston home for over 8 years, although she’s always been familiar — her entire maternal family grew up in Boston and she attended university here!
In her spare time, Mimi enjoys riding her bike through Dorchester’s many parks and paths, spoiling her and Sam’s rescue seal-pup, Nova, and spending time with loved ones.
